.The finance controller oversees all aspects of financial planning and financial management of the Saltillo Facility. The finance controller is responsible but not limited for managing accounting records, evaluating, and managing risk, ensuring compliance with regulations, publishing financial statements, overseeing accounting operations, analyzing financial data, monitoring expenditure, forecasting, coordinating auditing processes, and ensuring accuracy of financial information, and ensuring that reported results comply with GAAP. The finance controller will aid in formulating sound financial strategies, implementing proper internal controls for a Maquiladora operation, achieving organizational targets, and developing financial plans that support organizational strategy. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Implement finance processes and policies, adhere to local and corporate policies and procedures. Overseeing day-to-day accounting functions Manage Billing, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Cost Accounting, Inventory accounting and Revenue Recognition Provide financial analysis and reports, train staff on business finance issues, promote regulatory compliance, and drive income generation. Ensuring organizational financial stability. Drive a safety culture by foster safety hazards reporting and elimination. Actively participate in "I Own safety", Velocity reporting, safety and productivity committees, and health protocols. Manage new projects but not limited to new Accounting/Finance systems. Produce financial statements as requested. Manage the forecasting and budgeting. Coordinate and audit physical inventory activities and lead inventory cycle count activities. Identify accounting and financial issues and suggest timely solutions. Support and perform month-end and year-end close process. Manage quality control over financial transactions and reporting. Coordinate the preparation of Corporate regulatory reporting. Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings. Streamline the accounting functions and operations. Review and approve Appropriate Request (AR), Inventory adjustments and Scrap per DOA. Other Functional Establish and manage the Finance department budget. Drives effective communication plan and actions. Accountable for supporting internal and external audits.
