Simulation Engineer (Passive Safety Systems)

Job Description: Simulation Engineer ( Passive Safety Systems ) Location: Valladolid, Spain Sector: Automotive Work regime: Remote Department Overview: The team focuses on the simulation of passive safety systems such as airbags, seatbelts, and dummies, assessing their performance in vehicles.
As our projects evolve, we may require professionals with the following qualifications: Key Responsibilities: - Perform advanced simulations using leading industry software to analyze the performance of passive safety systems in vehicles.
- Utilize simulation tools to support the development and optimization of airbags, seatbelts, and related technologies.
- Conduct biomechanical analysis using Humanetics dummies and interpret results to meet regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with automotive safety regulations (EUNCAP, USNCAP, etc.).
Required Skills and Qualifications: - +10 years of experience.
- Proficient in simulation codes: LS-Dyna, PamCrash, Radioss.
- Extensive product knowledge of various airbag systems (PAB, DAB, KNAB, SAB, CAB, CEAB) and seatbelt systems (SBS).
- High-level expertise in Altair HyperWorks package (Hypermesh, Hyperview, Hypergraph).
- Strong experience with Oasys PRIMER for pre-processing tasks.
- Familiarity with Humanetics dummies (5th, 50th, 95th, THOR50th, etc.)
and biomechanical analysis techniques.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive safety regulations (EUNCAP, USNCAP, etc.).
- Languages: Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken); Portuguese is a plus.
