The PositionTo find optimal solutions for our customers we are continuously improving our tool-landscape for Sample Workflow Simulation & Optimization. We are looking for a Simulation Product Owner to lead the development and optimization of our Sample Workflow Simulation & Optimization tools. In this role, you will bridge the gap between users, stakeholders, and the development team, ensuring that our simulation tools and emulators meet user needs and align with our strategic goals. You will leverage your expertise in simulation engineering and product management to design, validate, and continuously improve our simulation models and strategies. In this role, your main responsibilities will consist of (but will not be limited to):
Serve as a key liaison between users/customers and the development team, ensuring efficient and effective communication and information flow within the project and stakeholders.Analyze user needs and design appropriate simulation models or emulators to provide the requested insights, including specification, design, and requirement analysis.Manage and prioritize simulation backlog and transfer to the development team.Ensure validation of models and new functionalities and coordinate planning and execution of activities.Develop and implement simulation strategies that align with the overall Simulation ecosystem roadmap.Manage all aspects of in-life product management, including addressing customer feedback, requirements, and issues.Provide insights to stakeholders on simulations/emulation usage and guide user groups, when requested, to maximize the potential of current simulation tools.Continuous improvement of the models, scenarios and the tool environment to enable effective optimizations & design studies.Requirements of the Role: University or higher technical college degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.Strong understanding of simulation, software and hardware development processes, and related technologies.Experience managing diverse stakeholder expectations and requirements, ensuring alignment with tools vision and objectives.Experience in gathering business needs and translating them into prioritized backlog that can be transferred and executed by a development team.Experience with agile methodologies, including writing user stories, managing backlogs, and working closely with development teams.Solid background and professional skills in the areas of data analysis, data visualization, optimization, and statistical modeling.Knowledge of Core Lab and Point of Care workflows will be highly appreciated; experience with DDD and techniques such as Event Storming or Feature Mapping will be valued.Competencies required: Strong customer-centric mindset, with experience in gathering and prioritizing customer feedback.Critical thinking and high analytical skills. Ability to think strategically and solve complex problems with innovative solutions, detect new opportunities and move on new use cases when required.Strong organizational skills.
