You will lead and manage the company's research, production, and development teams, comprising about 30 professionals. You will report directly to the CEO.
ResponsibilitiesCoordinate operational teamsLead and manage the company's three operational teamsCollaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure operations are aligned with overall goals and objectivesDevelop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operationsSet and achieve operational goals and objectives and ensure they are aligned with the company's overall goalsManage resources, including budget and personnel, to ensure the teams have the necessary resources to meet their objectivesOversee the development and implementation of processes and procedures to ensure quality and consistency in the organization's operationsManage and mentor team leads to fulfill their roles, encourage their professional development and growthCommunicate operational progress and results to senior management and other stakeholdersGuide projectsTogether with relevant stakeholders, develop the organization's data strategy, including data collection, management, analysis, and reportingManage the planning, implementation, and tracking of multiple data-related and other company projectsTogether with stakeholders, develop and maintain project plans and schedulesCollaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, data engineers, and business stakeholders to identify project requirements and objectivesEnsure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of qualityCommunicate project statuses and risks to stakeholders and manage expectations effectivelyEnsure project documentation is complete, up to date, and accessible to all stakeholdersIdentify and manage project risks and issues, implementing contingency plans as necessaryCollaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure data is used effectively to support the organization's goalsQualificationsBackground in both economics and dataAcademic background in a quantitative field (Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or other comparable quantitative disciplines)Minimum of 5 years' experience leading and managing operationsStrong understanding of operations management and process improvement, including methodologies such as Agile and WaterfallKnowledge of data science methodologies, data management, and analytical toolsAbility to work well under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlinesExcellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skillsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsNice to have:Degree in Business Administration or Operations ManagementRelevant certifications, such as PMP, Six Sigma, and LeanExperience with change management and transformation
