You lead the team of Logistics: (Senior) Logistics Workers and Cold store employees.You are the frontman of internal communication for all daily operations between Logistics and the other departments (Production/Quality Control/Maintenance).You are responsible for all incoming and outgoing shipment accuracies (arrivals/departures), cold store layouts, and daily performance within your shift.You are responsible for the outbound transport planning and communication with our transporters.You participate in several important structural meetings. For example, our daily Whiteboard MeetingYou are an ambassador in various key areas: safety, hospitality external drivers, accuracy, and work Instructions.You ensure accurate administration and reporting in the ERP system.You strive for continuous improvement (for example 5S). You are continuously contributing to optimize, structure, and safeguard our processes.You work in shifts, monitoring overall logistics processes and performance.To give you an even better picture ... Just another day at the office You are also checking the handover from the previous shift to see if there are any other operational tasks or priorities for your shift. You start your workday by going through the planning of the daily tasks, while enjoying a cup of fresh mint tea. It's time for your daily Gemba walk. The first thing is checking the external basil cold store to see if all products are handled properly. Then you are going to check if the outgoing cold store layout is being followed by the Production Runners. You notice that one of the deliveries for our Dutch customers is still not picked up.
