Main activities include:Review the operational forecast and determine productivity requirements for sort operation, managing a team to meet all building's goals.Support all safety programs to ensure a safe work environment for all associates and Delivery Service Providers.Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:You will be part of the Amazon Logistics Team, responsible for the day-to-day management of the delivery station, overseeing operations that focus on the delivery of Amazon orders directly to customers. You will lead a team of Process Assistants and Delivery Service Providers in daily management of the delivery station, including meetings, training sessions, assigning job duties, and communicating with DSPs and their drivers.You are responsible for ensuring a safe workplace, properly trained personnel, and addressing their needs so they can focus on their jobs. One of the most important aspects of your job is to lead change at internet speed, as innovation has made us the global company we are today.Additional responsibilities include:Help in daily operations: Receive, scan, lift, and move shipments up to 25 kgs each.Route shipments within the AMZL coverage area.Support and assign job duties to Process Assistants.Adapt to sudden changes and growth according to operational necessities.Track and monitor sorting operations and driver dispatch.Continually stand and/or walk an average of 5 miles daily.Work in construction/distribution environments that may be noisy, unlit, unheated, and not air-conditioned.Minimum Qualifications:2+ years of employee and performance management experience.Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.English Intermediate-Advanced (B2+).1+ years of experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques.#J-18808-Ljbffr
