.Experience with planning, standard work practices, and performance metrics.Strong logical thinking, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills.Intermediate working knowledge of Excel.Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) across various levels of an organization.Fluent in oral and written communication in English.Organization and time management skills.Good teamwork mentality: able to build trustworthy and supportive working relationships.Job Summary Amazon EU Amazon Logistics Central Operations (EUCO) is looking for a highly analytical and customer-obsessed Shift Manager within the Short Term Volume Management (STVM) team.STVM is a team currently under formation with a mandate to drive improved day-to-day network management for EU AMZL with a focus on speed, customer experience, efficiency, and attainment helping AMZL become the number one parcel carrier for EU.As the team is still under creation, this is an opportunity to come in and help shape a new business area within AMZL.This position offers an exciting opportunity to make history and become a member of a team whose purpose is to solve complex operational management challenges.We're looking for creative leaders with a passion for innovation, a knack for problem-solving, and dedication to creating world-class customer experiences.The EUCO STVM Shift Manager will help drive operational excellence on a day-to-day basis and work with internal and external stakeholders to develop best-in-class processes and tools to drive optimal volume flow through the European AMZL network.As a STVM Shift Manager, you will be part of a team that drives performance on day-to-day operations and projects for EU CO.Your role will be to focus on key KPIs such as forecast accuracy for volumes, SPR, on-road minutes, cycle adherence in stations, and more.Process adherence/improvement will play a key role in deliverables to both our Delivery Station and Delivery Service Partner Management team.You will be responsible and accountable for daily metrics.You will be accountable for driving program scoping, rollout, compliance/monitoring, and stakeholder experience.In addition, as EUCO sits at the crux of multiple Amazon teams, you will be instrumental in developing best practices and standard work for the existing and expanded EU network including new country launches.Responsibilities: - Responsible for last-mile customer experience and last-mile cost.Use data-driven decision-making to achieve daily operational excellence.Make decisions and execute in a fast-paced environment.Leverage quantitative analysis to identify best practices that improve customer, cost, and delivery partner outcomes.Develop processes and systems to achieve metrics, often requiring scrappy solutions to temporarily overcome technical limitations.Serve as a problem solver and primary escalation point for the team of associates.Maintain a full understanding of workflow and daily metrics goals.Review and update SOPs as required
