We are looking for a SharePoint Architect for one of the European Institutions in Malta.
European candidates need to be willing to travel to Malta.

Tasks and responsibilities: Propose and provide the information systems' architecture and technology roadmap, including upgrade, migration and maintenance for Azure environment, SharePoint Online, SharePoint Server Subscription Edition, and Microsoft 365 presence;Lead and contribute to the solution architecture, design, development, implementation, testing, and maintenance;Assess, propose, design, prototype, develop, test, configure, and maintain technical solutions related to key business requirements for improvements of information systems;Provide technical leadership and hands-on support to other members of the ICT project team(s) in requirements engineering, work estimation, software development, deployment, and maintenance and support;Integrate information systems with other systems and/or third-party platforms and tools, as required;Develop and maintain the solution architecture of information systems;Profile: Bachelor or Master Degree in IT;+10 years of IT working experience;+5 years of SharePoint experience;+2 years of SharePoint architecture experience;Experience in designing and proposing solution architecture;Experience in advanced use of: SharePoint on-prem (2019/Hybrid/Subscription Edition) and SharePoint Online, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), SharePoint PnP Framework (deployment templates), SharePoint site and list templates, SharePoint REST APIs, client-side web parts, custom actions and PowerShell, including use of SharePoint Migration Tool (SPMT), Sharegate, or similar toolsets;Experience in software development in one or more of the following: .NET (Framework 4.x and 6+), C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, and ASP.NET Web API;Experience with advanced work with Web APIs and perform system integrations;Previous experience of usage of Microsoft Entra ID or integration with identity and access management (IAM) systems, Microsoft 365 and Azure DevOps;Familiarity with DevOps best practices, including continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD);Experience in one or more front-end JavaScript frameworks, such as Vue.js, Angular or React;Experience with Microsoft SQL Server;Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform;Fluent in English;
