You will support our business partners with your expertise and contribute to an advanced, consistent, and efficient design system that enhances our digital transformation journey.RESPONSIBILITIESDeveloping frontend components based on PrimeTek libraries (PrimeNG, PrimeVue, PrimeReact).Creating custom components to meet specific requirements and enhance the design system.Conducting unit testing for all components using appropriate testing frameworks.Collaborating with the team to understand and improve the release management process for the library.Conducting code reviews, including testing changes locally and comparing them to the design specifications.Working with Azure DevOps, including pipelines, repositories, and overall infrastructure, to ensure smooth integration and deployment processes.Having a deep understanding of our infrastructure and constantly improving existing processes.Engaging and collaborating with our internal business partners throughout the development process.Maintaining a rough understanding of UX/UI topics to contribute to the overall user experience.Supporting the continuous improvement and updating of the design system components and documentation.QUALIFICATIONSGuiding and mentoring junior developers in component development and best practices.Fluent in English, both written and verbal communication.Experience working in an agile development environment.Strong digital mindset to support BASF Digitalization transformation journey.A team player with problem-solving skills, capable of working on both strategic and hands-on levels.Understanding the entire design system development process.Experience with PrimeNG, PrimeVue, or PrimeReact libraries.NICE TO HAVEKnowledge and experience in server-side rendering (SSR) techniques.Familiarity with accessibility best practices and considerations.Experience working with design tools such as Figma and Adobe Suite.Experience with automation scripts based on JavaScript.BENEFITSA secure work environment because your health, safety and wellbeing is always our top priority.
