.We are looking for an Accountant - Morocco (French Speaker), to work in the Mediterranean Finance team based in our Madrid Head Office, giving support to the 6 Mediterranean countries (Spain, Portugal, Greece, Israel, Turkey, Morocco) with Morocco country focus.Overall Responsibilities Transversal management with local Tax accounting providers & auditors, especially in MoroccoResponsible for the accuracy of accounting booksResponsible for the compliance with local fiscal and accounting rulesControl and ensure correct implementation of the company administrative policyProvides timely and accurate accounting information to the managementEnsure daily bookkeeping tasks with the whole accounting teamTAX (in relation with the Tax Advisor & Accounting Manager Mediterranean) Control accuracy and consistency of fiscal books (VAT, fixed assets) & files (VAT returns income Tax)Deliver bridge between local accounts & IFRS accountsPrepare Monthly VAT and all Tax declarations in partnership with external advisorsPrepare Monthly submission of local statistics, intrastate in country where it appliesACCOUNTING Processing of vendors invoicesRegistration of Note expensesPreparation of payment batches on a weekly basisPost and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recordedCreation and update of vendor master data in SAPDaily check of Retail System/SAP interface on salesDaily sales reconciliation and documentation review.
