Full job description Duties At the GS-11 and GS-12 level you will perform the below: You will plan and schedule the installation of new or modified hardware and operating systems and application software to meet special requirements. You will plan and conduct feasibility studies preliminary to acquisition, acceptance testing and/or evaluation of various Windows files, applications, e-mail, and servers.

You will provide technical support for all Window Server operating systems and user application software. You will assure conformance to local information systems technical standards, procedures, and regulatory guidance You will ensure system availability, functionality and efficiency of software systems.





You will analyze hardware reliability and utilization reports to identify and define problem areas. Requirements Conditions of Employment Must be a US Citizen.

This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code System Administrator, proficiency level Intermediate. The incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies Qualifications GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of specialized experience must include most or all of the following:

1) Deploying, configuring, and managing Windows Servers and utilizing system support software for remote control, patch management,



software distribution and operating system deployment; 2) Configuring and administrating backup applications used within the DOD for disaster recovery; 3) Monitoring, troubleshooting, and establishing business continuity for Active Directory Domain Services;

4) Installing, configuring and managing VMware and vSphere infrastructures; 5) Diagnosing system failures and correcting or advising responsible vendor of problem. GS-11 : Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Examples of specialized experience must include some or all of the following: 1) Assisting with deploying, configuring, and managing Windows Servers and utilizing system support software for remote control, patch management,



software distribution and operating system deployment; 2) Monitoring and troubleshooting Active Directory Domain Services;

3) Installing, configuring and managing virtual networking environments; 4) Diagnosing system failures and correcting or advising responsible vendor of problem.
