The Senior ServiceNow Business Analyst will be responsible for capturing business requirements, coming up with functional design, developing agile stories, helping in process design, testing, defining support procedures, and supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of ServiceNow. Furthermore, the business analyst will identify improvement opportunities and work closely with the functional teams to maximize the investment benefits.
How You Create Impact:
Analyze and document business processes within the functional area of expertise (e.g., quality, finance, logistics, manufacturing, customer service, etc.) Recommend business process improvements Work with the ServiceNow product owner and solution architect to design (technical) solutions for the functional requirements Work with the development team to customize and implement solutions within ServiceNow Work with IT Business Analysts from other functional areas to ensure processes integrate/interface seamlessly Ensure customization and program changes are documented Write requirement and technical specifications as well as UAT test scripts Work with the development team to implement requirements Train (key) users on the changes Provide ongoing support to users for the processes and functions within the responsibility of the IT Business Analyst (issue resolution) Manage, update and communicate status of open issue list assigned For small to medium size projects assigned: set up project plan with tasks, milestones, timeline, dependencies and budget. Define resource requirements. Identify and recommend external (consulting) resource requirements Contact external (consulting) resources or vendors as needed Stay up-to-date with the latest developments within the functional area of responsibility Hold the development team accountable for delivering What Will Make You Stand Out:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years' relevant experience; or Bachelor and Master's degree with 4+ years' relevant experience 2+ years' experience with ServiceNow What Will Make You Successful:
Excellent analytical skills and business presentation skills Solid experience of deploying change management best practices and disciplines (e.g., SCRUM, Agile) Experience gathering and documenting client requirements Strong client interfacing skills: a positive attitude, highly motivated, excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience with ServiceNow HR case Management Experience with GBS Centers and how they operate Functional and IT experience (preferably in the HR and Finance domains).
