This position is part of CS (Customer Support) Supply Chain Organization, reporting directly to the CS SSC Strategy and Digital Transformation Director. The Services Supply Chain ships more than 9M parts per year, processes 650k whole unit repair globally through an extensive network of outsourcing partners. CS Supply Chain Strategy & Digital Transformation charter is to design/define the roadmap of transformations in sync with technology advancements, to develop new capabilities/solutions. Such transformations are intended to increase CS SC competitiveness (optimization and standardization), to enable services/contractual growth, and to innovate while embracing the impact of the new technologies.
The Strategy & Digital Transformation team is also accountable to drive the definition of new Supply Chain solutions and Technology investments. The Strategist/Architect role owns the full definition of the roadmap for Planning, tracking the implementation of the projects related, ensuring the overall Planning Ecosystem is consistent with the defined strategy. Strategists/architects work with a large number of stakeholders within CS SSC (Planning, Partner Management, Logistics, BU platforms, regions), within CS (BU Category, Services, Infrastructure & Technology), beyond CS (global trade, IT, Product SC), and with external partners (external consultants, vendors).
Key Responsibilities:Delivery of strategic roadmap, from the inception to the handover to the program/department responsible for the execution. The roadmap should target breakthrough innovations, business enhancements/optimizations or IT architecture changes for CS SC.In-depth analysis of the current solutions and identification of opportunities.Continuous research through benchmarking, best practices detection and other external sources.Analysis of impact and applicability of industry trends and global Megatrends.Drive return of investment scenarios, benefit projections, risk analysis and financial close the loop.Propose deployment path of opportunities.Alignment with rest of functions or external teams about new requirements.Partnership with external stakeholders to maximize opportunity to leverage solutions enabled in other HP businesses.Participation in senior management reviews (VP, directors) to conduct reviews on progress and inform on opportunities or investment requirements.Influence decision-making processes and project prioritization exercises.Support program/project definition, as well as providing consultancy during the development and implementation phases.Tracking of roadmap implementation, acting as a Technical Sponsor of the related programs.Participate actively in the technical key decisions.Cross-program coordination to manage dependencies and ensure overall roadmap deployment.Qualifications:First level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.Typically, 10+ years of experience in a supply chain function.8+ years project and program management experience in complex cross-functional, multi-country and multi-partner environments.PMP, ITIL, Lean Six Sigma certifications is a plus.Proven experience driving large transformations with significant benefits to the business.Experience in business process reengineering is a must.Expertise in at least two of the following domains: customer support, supply chain, IT, Partner management.Expertise in Planning Transformation projects.Skills:External perspective and innovative.Business acumen.Business analysis skills.Technology acumen.Leadership.Negotiation skills.Problem-solving skills.Manage high complexity.Digging in the details while keeping the big picture.Presentation and communication skills.
