A Snapshot of Your Day:
We are currently looking for a Service Sales Manager in Grid Technologies with a focus on the Service market of High Voltage grid transmission solutions and systems. The main objective of this position is to grow the opportunity pipeline and orders in new and existing markets of Grid Technologies, specifically focusing on Service Business that Siemens Energy has to support our customers in the energy transition. You will be responsible for the Service Business.
How You'll Make an Impact:
In charge of Grid Technologies Service business development in Spain .
Build key customer relationships with main players such as solar/wind farm developers, IPP, Industrial, and EPC through regular and frequent visits.
Enlarge market share and create opportunities by participating in fairs and associations.
Support Execution Unit head to define market strategy and targets.
Conduct price and market analysis for competitors.
Negotiate prices with customers.
Assist system configuration and discussions with the tendering and execution teams in Service.
Ensure that the Sales and Tendering processes are implemented in line with Siemens Energy processes in a compliant and ethical manner.
Take ownership of the whole sales process for project opportunities from Lead Management through to Project Handover, coordinating with other involved parties to provide technically accurate and commercially/financially compliant proposals.
Enable, when necessary, the level of escalation appropriate to solve critical aspects.
Initiate continuous development towards deeper technical knowledge in the allocated portfolio and extend expertise towards more complex business.
Define Bid/Win Strategy and develop technical solutions to meet customer needs.
What You Bring:
Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar technical discipline.
Specific knowledge and >5 years experience with Substation business preferred. Project management experience is an advantage.
General knowledge of HV portfolio.
Experience in Service Business.
Available for frequent national and sometimes international business trips.
Excellent/mother-tongue Spanish language skills mandatory.
Very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
High level of comprehension, strong analytical and structuring skills, strategic thinking, assertiveness, curiosity, and initiative.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
Strong collaborative work skills among diverse teams and different countries.
Strong orientation to reach targets and provide customer service, with initiative and autonomy.
Willingness to have regular customer visits .
Disciplined in planning, organizing, and structuring resources, with good analytical and problem-solving skills .
Team player, able to communicate with multiple levels of customers, peers, and team members.
Ability to work accurately and in a structured way.
Capability to be self-supporting (able to work without supervision) and quickly learn new concepts.
EHS knowledge and quality mindset.
