As a Service Senior Sales Specialist, you will be part of our Grid Automation Service Team. We provide Service Solutions for substation automation systems, control and protection, cyber security, communication and telecontrol technology. The team is highly motivated and has a strong customer and service-oriented approach. It is our ambition to provide high quality service, delivering solutions aligned with customers' needs. In this role, you are responsible for Service business from initial customer request to contract closing and handover to operations. The activities include working with customers to create and complete bids/estimations/quotations based on customer's technical specifications and other requirements to achieve both market competitiveness, high quality tenders, and profitable business. How you'll make an impact: Creates plans and implements sales strategy, and strategic sales and business development initiatives, in alignment with HBU/ BU sales strategy. Identifies opportunities at existing and potential new customers. Establish and maintain strong customer relationships through excellent service and knowledge of customer needs. Keep the organization informed about new trends, influences, and players in the market. Perform sales activities to achieve or exceed assigned orders objectives. Collaborate with all related local Hitachi Energy Business Units to ensure alignment and collaboration. Promote services and solutions in the market, with participation at trade fairs, exhibitions, customer meetings, and with telephone contacts. Elaborate and provide clear responses and suggestions to the customer on possible technical solutions. Proactively prepare sales forecast and sales planning. Produce the required documentation and support material required. Provide all inputs needed to prepare tenders. Work in full coordination with the other sales specialists for Grid Automation and with the Front End Sales team (KAM). Your background: Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar, with strong technical background, ideally with emphasis in power engineering. Excellent technical understanding of substation automation, control and protection solutions. Minimum of 2 years of experience in the field of substation automation, control and protection, cyber security, communication and/or telecontrol technology. Proven track record from working either with electrical utility, system integrator, or technical consultant. Flexibility and interest in working within an international team. Good skills in communication and in customer relations. English is mandatory. Proven working experience in customer contact, coordinating multiple tenders and taking responsibility.
