Burckhardt Compression España, based in San Sebastián de los Reyes, Madrid, is looking for a Sales Engineer, with the following characteristics: Main responsibilities and tasks: Directly involved in offering after-sales support services
Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers
Managing and interpreting customer requirements
Traveling to meet potential clients
Develop and monitor the market in the assigned area according to company core business
Prepare technical proposal and commercial proposal
Coordinate with BCAG/X counterpart for respective support
Ensure business objectives are met within the timeline
Perform pre-sales and post-sales marketing activities/plans with the aim of growing served market, developing un-served market segment, creating new customer base, maintaining existing customer relationships
Assist in providing sales forecast and market reports
Manage the customer database
Work in a multi-functional team to deliver sales targets
Marketing, customer events & exhibitions
Carry out other jobs as assigned by superior
Education/Experience/Languages: Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
2 to 3 years of working experience in industrial sales (refinery/petrochemical/chemical). Experience in after-sales service of gas compressor will be an added advantage.

Able to work independently to complete the given tasks
Results oriented with a strong sense of achievement and customer oriented
Conscious to work in an international environment
Available for traveling when necessary
Full English skills (reading, writing and speaking). Other languages appreciated
Special Requirements: Full understanding of maintenance/repair job

Spare parts & components sales
Valve servicing & components repair
Field Service/Trouble-shooting
Work together and support the team to achieve company as well as personal objectives
Proactively visit/approach customers and prospects to understand customers' requirements, market movement/trends & competition
Sales turnover on his region/customers
Gross profit on his region/customers
Customer satisfaction
Response time to customer in terms of offer preparation & order processing
Effective coordination with different departments/BCAG/X to obtain necessary information
Personal goals to be discussed and agreed in a separate sheet annually
