Burckhardt Compression España, based in San Sebastián de los Reyes, Madrid, is looking for a Sales Engineer, with the following characteristics: Main responsibilities and tasks:Direct involvement in offering after-sales support servicesEstablishing new and maintaining existing relationships with customersManaging and interpreting customer requirementsTraveling to meet potential clientsDevelop and monitor the market in the assigned area according to company core businessPrepare technical and commercial proposalsCoordinate with BCAG/X counterpart for respective supportEnsure business objectives are met within the timelinePerform pre-sales and post-sales marketing activities/plans with the aim of growing served market, developing un-served market segments, creating a new customer base, and maintaining existing customer relationshipsAssist in providing sales forecasts and market reportsManage the customer databaseWork in a multi-functional team to deliver sales targetsMarketing, customer events & exhibitionsCarry out other jobs as assigned by superior Education/Experience/Languages:Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering; Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred2 to 3 years of working experience in industrial sales (refinery/petrochemical/chemical); experience in after-sales service of gas compressors will be an added advantageA team player with good interpersonal & communication skillsAble to work independently to complete the given tasksResults-oriented with a strong sense of achievement and customer orientationConscious to work in an international environmentAvailable for traveling when necessaryFull English skills (reading, writing, and speaking); other languages appreciated Special Requirements:Full understanding of maintenance/repair jobs Key Performance Indicators (KPI's):Support sales activities including, but not limited to:Spare parts & components salesValve servicing & components repairField Service / Trouble-shootingWork together and support the team to achieve company as well as personal objectivesProactively visit/approach customers and prospects to understand customers' requirements, market movements/trends & competitionSales turnover in his region/customersGross profit in his region/customersCustomer satisfactionResponse time to customer in terms of offer preparation & order processingEffective coordination with different departments/BCAG/X to obtain necessary informationPersonal goals to be discussed and agreed in a separate sheet annually Burckhardt Compression offers interesting work and excellent development opportunities within a diversified and international environment.
