About the position As a SEO Specialist, your primary objective is to use your knowledge of search engine optimization tactics and techniques to optimize our company's digital assets for better search engine rankings. You are expected to be data-driven, analytical, and capable of implementing and managing our SEO efforts to maximize the volume of inbound organic traffic from search engines to our websites. You should have a strong understanding of industry trends and a keen eye for digital marketing strategies that can drive engagement and conversion.
Key responsibilities SEO Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of SEO principles, including crawling, indexing, rendering, and ranking, along with proficiency in on-page SEO, off-page SEO, technical SEO, and local and international SEO.Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret data from various sources such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools to make data-driven decisions for website optimization.Keyword Research: Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify relevant and high-traffic keywords for content optimization and monitor keyword rankings.Competitor Analysis: Utilize main SEO metrics to perform benchmark analyses among key industry competitors.Technical Website Audits: Conduct thorough technical website audits to identify issues affecting search engine rankings and provide recommendations for improvements.Content Optimization: Collaborate on optimizing website content to enhance search engine visibility and user experience.Link Building: Assist in the development of effective link-building strategies.SEO Tools: Utilize various SEO tools and software, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.Technical Skills: Possess basic knowledge of web development technologies and languages, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Project Management: Contribute to managing SEO projects and meeting deadlines.Adaptability and Learning: Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry developments through continuous learning.Communication: Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.SEO Initiatives: Support in the execution of short and long-term SEO initiatives.User Acquisition: Help increase user acquisition for existing and upcoming products.Data Analysis: Assist in analyzing data to monitor website performance and identify areas for improvement.Market Analysis: Contribute to competitor, sector, and market analysis.Experimentation: Support in defining, implementing, and analyzing experiments focused on user acquisition.Minimum experience and qualifications Relevant University degree.A minimum of 3 years of experience in SEO or a related field.Basic knowledge of search engine processes.Possess basic knowledge of web development technologies and languages, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Self-starter with an objectives-oriented mindset.Specific knowledge of the Software & Apps industry is a plus.Personal side-projects in the field of SEO are a plus.Coding skills regarding JS & SQL are a nice to have.English is a must.Why Softonic?
