Position Overview: The SEO & Marketing Specialist will play a critical role in driving organic growth and enhancing online visibility.
This role involves developing SEO strategies, managing content calendars, analyzing performance metrics, and collaborating with the content team to maximize impact and engagement.
Key Responsibilities: Keyword Research & Strategy: Conduct thorough keyword research and establish a strategy that aligns with client goals and audience needs.
Content Calendar Management: Collaborate with content teams to create and manage calendars that meet SEO and marketing objectives.
SEO Analysis & Optimization: Use tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Google Search Console to monitor and optimize content for search visibility.
Performance Tracking & Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on KPIs using Google Analytics and other SEO tools, providing actionable insights.
On-Page & Technical SEO: Optimize meta tags, headers, images, and site speed to improve user experience and crawlability.
Content Optimization: Work closely with writers to ensure content aligns with SEO best practices, enhancing engagement and reach.
Competitive Analysis: Regularly assess industry trends and competitor strategies to inform and adjust SEO and marketing initiatives.
Collaboration: Partner with the Director of Organic Search & Content Marketing and team members on larger projects, contributing ideas for success.
Qualifications: Experience: 2-3 years in SEO and/or content marketing with proven success in driving organic growth.
Proficiency in SEO Tools: Experience with Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console; familiarity with Moz, Screaming Frog, or Hub Spot is a plus.
Analytical Skills: Skilled in interpreting data, identifying trends, and making data-driven recommendations.
Content Knowledge: Strong understanding of content marketing and SEO best practices.
Project Management: Capable of managing content calendars and coordinating effectively with content teams to meet deadlines.
Nice-to-Haves: Experience working with marketing agencies.
