We are looking for a Senior Wind Engineer to join a leading renewable energy generation multinational group.

Functions & Responsibilities: Technical Leadership and Support : Lead a team of wind engineers to provide technical analysis and support across various business areas, including wind source analysis, design, construction, commissioning, operation, and maintenance for wind power projects.
Design and Specification Review : Ensure wind turbine system designs, load analysis, and components (blades, generators, control systems) meet project goals, regulatory requirements, and conduct lifetime analysis for wind farms.
Commissioning and Troubleshooting : Oversee or perform testing and commissioning of wind turbine systems, troubleshoot issues, and provide root cause analysis for major turbine failures during commissioning or operation.
Optimization and Retrofit Work : Review major retrofit, repair, or overhaul work, supervise subcontractor technical activities, and propose technical optimizations to improve wind farm performance.
Mentorship and Due Diligence : Mentor junior engineers, contribute to technical problem-solving within the company, and support technical due diligence for mergers and acquisitions related to wind projects.
Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you should have: A Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or equivalent is required.
At least 5 years of experience in the wind energy industry is required, including experience in wind turbine design, wind farm development, and construction.
Advanced to Intermediate English language proficiency (B2-C1) , Native Spanish language proficiency (C1-C2) , both written and verbal.
Bonus points if you have: Technical Certification/Safety Training in BST/GWO to work in wind farms.
Experience with wind energy software tools such as wind resource assessment software, turbine performance modeling software, and design software is highly valued.
Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations related to wind energy.
A creative and innovative mindset is highly valued for identifying new technologies and approaches to improve wind energy system design and performance.
Strong understanding of all aspects of Wind design, installation, retrofits, and troubleshooting.
Great time management, analytical and problem resolution capacity.
