Welcome to Preply's Creative Studio, where innovation meets passion in crafting remarkable experiences for our learners and tutors.
We're seeking an experienced and talented Senior Video Editor to join our team. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in our video production process, bringing a strong creative vision and technical expertise to produce high-quality video content and advanced motion graphics that enhance our brand. Your creative storytelling skills will be key in adapting master campaign spots into shorter versions while maintaining the core messaging.
What you'll be doing:
Create Engaging Visual Content: Build compelling video edits and motion design for various media platforms including digital, social media advertising and in-product animation.
Post-Production: Maintain the integrity of the master edits, colour grading, audio mastering, and motion graphic renders to deliver the final outputs for our video assets.
Technical Execution: Utilize industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, etc.) to produce high-quality animations and visual effects, ensuring consistency and attention to detail.
Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in motion design to ensure our content remains innovative and competitive.
Strategic Thinking: Understanding of how motion design and editing fits into broader business objectives and marketing strategies.
What you need to succeed:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Cinema, Videography, Motion Design, Visual Communications, or related field.
4+ years of experience working as an Editor + Motion Designer in a marketing or branding role, preferably in a digital-first environment.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Figma is a good plus.
Strong understanding of rhythm, color grading and sound mixing, motion principles, storytelling and narrative, and layout techniques.
A keen eye for detail and the ability to translate complex concepts into visually compelling videos.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Passion for new technologies and digital innovation, with a demonstrated interest in online advertising and digital marketing trends.
Portfolio showcasing a diverse range of videography and motion projects.
