Job Description: Digital Legends is an Activision independent Studio based in Barcelona, formed by industry veterans and emerging talent who are focused on delivering a AAA gaming experience to mobile devices. Since it was founded in 2001, the studio has been a pioneer in mobile game development. It has a long, established history as a leading mobile development studio with a number of high-quality mobile titles built from the ground-up to its credits, including the award-winning The Respawnables series of games. We are recruiting top-class talent for an unannounced mobile title within the Call of Duty universe. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Produce mockups, prototypes and final assets following the design requirements and UI art style of the project.
Produce diverse fast prototypes to explore very different possible approaches to a design request.
Create UI animations.
Implement assets in the game using the existing tools.
Work closely and iterate with other artists and designers, creating pixel-perfect, polished final assets.
Make sure that the information depicted in the game UI is clear, consistent, and usable throughout all steps of the User Experience.
Get to know the UI tools and processes inside out and be the reference for those within the department.
Incentivise knowledge sharing, give feedback and mentor less experienced artists.
Write documentation as needed.
YOUR SKILLS:
At least 3 years' experience working as a UI artist.
Understanding of UX principles.
Outstanding knowledge and experience with typography, iconography and graphic design.
Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator.
Understanding of the full UI pipeline from mockup to final, working UI.
IT'S ALWAYS A PLUS:
Experience in shooters, mobile game development and/or AAA games.
Figma knowledge.
