Your new team
We are a medium-sized, globally distributed design team dedicated to the Language Learning sector of Pearson.
We work across UX/UI Design, UX Writing, UX Research, and Service Design.
Our team brings together diverse backgrounds, cultures, seniorities, and neurotypes, creating a dynamic environment with opportunities for growth.
We primarily collaborate with stakeholders in European time zones.
Role overview
You'll collaborate daily with product managers, researchers, engineers, and QA in an agile environment to deliver user-centric solutions.
You'll take part in the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and prototyping to testing and implementation ensuring accessible and seamless user experiences.
The key skills required include:
Translating product briefs into tangible artefacts: Ability to create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and anything that can help the cross-functional team understand the user perspective.Strong UI and interaction design skills: Ability to design both static and dynamic components to enhance user engagement and usability.Responsive design skills: Experience designing responsive web layouts across various screen sizes.Knowledge of Design Systems: Familiarity with design systems, with the ability to contribute new components and maintain consistency across products.Proficiency in Figma: Expert in using Figma for design, prototyping, and design team collaboration.Ability to translate research into actionable insights: Skilled in interpreting UX research and analytics to inform and refine design solutions.Adaptability: Open to feedback and iterative design processes.Collaboration: Work seamlessly with other designers and cross-functional teams.What to expect from this process
