Responsibilities
Create both low- and high-fidelity mockups, focusing on usability and intuitive interaction design of game features.
Present design work within your feature team, articulating design decisions and gathering feedback to refine user experiences.
Collaborate closely with other designers (game, UI, level, systems, narrative) to support and uphold the UX vision for the game.
Adhere to established player-centric design principles and integrate them into feature designs.
Embrace a feedback-oriented environment, contributing to peer reviews and improving your designs based on team input.
Collaborate with the UX research and data science teams to derive actionable improvements, implement feedback, and optimize designs, ensuring they align with player needs.
Work with product and engineering teams to ensure your designs are aligned with project goals and technical constraints.
Stay up to date with the latest UX practices, tools, and technologies, applying relevant insights to your design process.
Minimum Requirements
Proficiency in Figma and other prototyping tools.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Understanding of interaction design, information architecture, and UX / UI design principles.
A good grasp of player-centric and game-centric design methodologies.
Crafting for accessibility and inclusion.
Familiarity with integrating research insights into UX designs.
Additional Experience
Experience contributing to the UX vision for systemically sophisticated games.
Knowledge of freemium or live-service game models.
Experience working in an agile project environment.
Understanding of technical limitations, optimization, and UX implementation.
Ability to work collaboratively with product, design, and engineering teams on problem solving and feature design.
