About the role: As a Senior Tool Engineer, you'll participate directly in the game development for one of our mobile game projects, focusing on identifying, designing, and implementing tools for content integration, generation, and project administration. You will partner daily with engineers, designers, and producers to implement the required tooling to support a fast and high-quality content integration/generation workflow.
What you will do:
Implement a common framework for tool development.Develop tools for editing Levels, AI Behaviors, and other systems.Develop tools for content integration, dynamic content management, and other systems.Participate in the general development of the game F/E side.Keep a high performance, maintainable, and scalable tooling ecosystem.Share the produced knowledge with the entire company.Develop relationships across multiple teams (Art, Tech Art, Design, Production, and Game Engineering).Required qualifications:
Extensive knowledge of Unity Engine with extensive professional Unity experience.Previous professional experience and extensive knowledge of Unity integrated tool development.Strong C# background - demonstrable prior work and/or project experience.Good knowledge of algorithms and data structures.Strong familiarity and knowledge of the Unity profiling toolset.Familiarity with commonly used source control, such as Git and Perforce.Excellent communication skills and experience working with several other people across multiple teams.Preferred qualifications:
