Reference I-PAS-75/24This project is conducted in collaboration with the Biodiversity Foundation of the Spanish Ministry of the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, under the Pleamar Programme, and co-funded by the European Union through the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (EMFAF).First. Number of vacancies and features of the job vacancy:1.1 Number of job vacancies: one.1.2 Job position: senior technologist.1.3 Funded line of research: "Biodiversity and Marine Preservation".1.4 Working hours: full-time position, morning/afternoon sessions.1.5 Remuneration: €1,550 gross/monthly plus two extra payments of the same amount as the monthly remuneration, or a proportional part for periods of less than one year.Second. First project in which the successful applicant will collaborate.2.1 Name of the project: "New technologies and advances in the knowledge of elasmobranchii in waters off eastern Spain (e-Lasmobranc)".At the end of this first project or its budgetary availability, the successful applicant may join other projects within the same line of research.2.2 Reference: FBIOPLEAMAR23-1192.3 Funding agency: Biodiversity Foundation of the Spanish Ministry of the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge.2.4 Co-funding agency: EMFAF, European Union.2.6 Tasks to be carried out:Enlarging and adapting the dataset of images of target shark and ray species.Enlarging and adapting the dataset for the target elasmobranch species, based on the datasets for the Deepfish and Deepfish2 projects.Developing a DNN-based system for identifying target elasmobranch species.Fourth. Requirements for applicants.Compliance with the requirements listed below must always refer to the date of expiry of the deadline for the submission of applications and must be maintained until the date of entering into the contract.
