Offer DescriptionUNIVERSITY OF ALICANTE calls for applications to cover an open-ended contractual senior technologist position to collaborate with the funded research line "Biodiversity Museum (MUBIO)". Reference: I-PAS-63/24
First. Number of vacancies and features of the job vacancy Number of job vacancies: one.Job position: senior technologist.Funded line of research: "Biodiversity Museum (MUBIO)".Working hours: full commitment in morning/afternoon sessions.Remuneration: €1,400 gross/monthly plus two extra payments of the same amount.Second. First project/research group in which the successful applicant will collaborate Name of the research group: Biodiversity and Biotechnology in Conservation Biology.Dept. / Institute: University Institute for Biodiversity Research (CIBIO).Tasks to be carried out:Conservation of specimens and maintenance of the museum collections.Maintenance, control, cataloguing and updating of the museum inventory.Maintenance of the MUBIO permanent exhibitions.Administration, processing and execution of exhibitions on biodiversity.Development of texts, materials and exhibition spaces on biodiversity.Preparation of reports for the Valencia Government General Directorate for Heritage.Dissemination through workshops, talks, and lectures on the environment.Administration and management of the research project according to the established procedure.Third. Scale to be applied according to the job profile Official academic qualifications: Undergraduate degree in Environmental Sciences, Degree in Biology or equivalent.Experience: Performance of tasks related to biodiversity-focused workspaces.Additional education: Qualifications related to the tasks outlined.Fourth. Requirements for applicants Hold or be in the process of obtaining a relevant undergraduate degree.Have Spanish nationality or meet legal residency requirements.Good command of any of the official languages of the Valencia Region.Be at least 16 years of age and not over the maximum age for compulsory retirement.Possess physical and mental capacities necessary for the performance of duties.Not be disqualified by final judgement or as a result of disciplinary reasons.Full terms and conditions of this call can be found at the following link (IN SPANISH).
