We're Celonis, the global leader in Process Mining technology and one of the world's fastest-growing SaaS firms.We believe there is a massive opportunity to unlock productivity by placing data and intelligence at the core of business processes - and for that, we need you to join us.The Team:At each and every Celonis office, we get things done quickly by cultivating an open-minded culture with creative, collaborative, autonomous teams in which the best ideas win.As part of Product & Engineering you will have the opportunity to grow with a steep learning curve, being equipped with responsibility from day 1.The Role:Can you take complex ideas and communicate them in a simple, elegant way?Are you curious and want to learn something new every day?Are you passionate about creating and organizing technical information that facilitates users finding the information they need when they need it?Can you collaborate with diverse teams located globally?Are you a content innovator?Do you keep up with new content creation and presentation/delivery trends?If this sounds like you, Celonis is seeking a Technical Writer who can work with our developers, users, and our open-source community to gather the technical information needed to create and maintain a wide variety of documentation.The work you'll do:Create, revise and publish world-class documentation.Build relationships with product and engineering teams and actively participate in Agile teams.Be the voice of the customer!Become a subject matter expert (SME) developing expertise in your product area(s).Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering on writing best practices and consistent use of taxonomy.Write, edit and review product UI components, in-app text strings and error messages.Suggest improvements and drive consistency.Partner with Celonis Academy, Customer Support and Community teams to create the best self-service experience for customers.Improve documentation through feedback analysis, support tickets and interviews.Take on additional improvement projects to improve overall documentation quality.The qualifications you need:Self-starter who can take the initiative with minimal supervision.Comfortable working independently to gather information from software developers and product management about new features, and create helpful, interesting, well-organized, consistent, high-quality content from scratch.Prior experience documenting SaaS, client-server, on-premise, and cloud software applications.Ability to participate in agile feature team meetings and represent the interests of the tech pubs team.Enjoy learning and using new products, testing the documentation you write and becoming an expert user.Confident in managing multiple tasks and solving problems in a fast-paced environment to create dynamic content for incremental feature delivery.Work closely with customer success to identify opportunities to make the documentation better.3+ years of technical writing or KCS experience in enterprise software.Possess excellent content planning, organization, and time management skills.Ability to act as an information designer, project manager, writer, editor, and publisher.Experience working in Agile development environments, documenting APIs (REST, and SOAP) or other programming languages with the ability to understand and write sample code.Experience with Markdown, HTML, CSS, SQL, or other Web technologies is highly beneficial.Excellent (fluent) spoken and written English.
