As a Senior Technical Writer, you have a unique ability to work with technically complex information, engage subject matter experts, and produce technical enablement articles for application developers and customers.

Job Responsibilities and Expectations:Partner with developers and other SMEs to define plans to fill content outages.Create highly useful technical documentation for application developers.Monitor relevant metrics and act based on data points.Meet deadlines while juggling multiple projects.Work in an agile way, ensuring content is valuable and highly useful.Required Skills & Experience:Proficiency in writing and editing technical content in US English, including articles, help documentation, and scripts for demos and online learning.Ability to define best practices, tools, templates, and terminology to enhance user experience.Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban).
Proficiency with tools like Jira or similar.Proficiency with Markdown, GitHub (or similar), and Visual Studio Code.Ability to assess metrics to evaluate content impact.Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) stages and their practices: planning, coding, testing, and deploymentUnderstanding of web development such: as client and server, HTTPEssential programming concepts such as algorithms and data structures.Familiarity with REST web servicesKnowledge of database concepts, including relational databases.Desired Skills & Experience:Create documentation and training using a doc-as-code approach for a software/application developer audience.Able to learn and earn OutSystems certification in 5 month of hireThe Longer Story:One of the fastest-growing B2B software companies in the world, OutSystems is on a mission to enable every organization to innovate through software.
