You will provide creative direction, project management, technical leadership, and mentoring to ensure our customers and people receive cutting-edge development strategy and spatial planning across facilities located within the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region.You will ideally have at least 10 years' experience in development infrastructure and master planning having led and managed the technical or architectural delivery of complex development projects across EMEA. Industrial master planning experience is highly beneficial and advantageous.This is a diverse role with great opportunity to develop leadership skills and be entrepreneurial to innovate and apply new master planning techniques with our customers and people.As a Senior Master Planner, you will be part of our Transport, Infrastructure and Logistics (TIL) business line in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Region.You'll be:Collaborate in a global master planning network with the combined goal to support and grow the industrial master planning service offer across all regionsReport to the Master Planning Practice Lead for EMEA, based in London, UKManage the preparation and delivery of strategic industrial master plans, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies, due diligence, and client-side technical advisor roles for various low carbon industriesLead the concept master planning of greener and next-generation industry projects providing coordination and integration of various technical teams across the Worley businessBe a master planning subject matter expert to guide strategic site selection studies and multi-criteria assessmentsApply design thinking principles to the master planning process to define, assess and develop appropriate solutions that are human-centric and balancing the needs of people and planetIntegrate Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) into the spatial master planning process, finding innovative solutions to make facilities greener, more user-centric, and efficientProvide strategic direction and guidance to junior architects and master plannersAssist with business development and bid preparation to grow a world-class industrial master planning capabilityCollaborate with other Worley Consulting business lines of TIL, Environment & Water (E&W), and Energy, Chemicals & Resources (ECR), to cross-sell and enhance the client service offerBe passionate and willing to integrate AI and generative design capabilities in the master planning processBe willing to travel on business and have a desire to experience different cultures and ways of workingYou'll have:10+ years experience in project leadership within a relevant consulting, planning, or architectural practiceBe passionate about growing the business, supporting sales teams, capturing new project opportunities, and leading their deliveryA successful track record of leading industrial master planning projects across the EMEA regionExperience in "Design Thinking" and user-centric design principlesExcellent communication skills (graphically and verbally)Be collaborative and comfortable in group workshop environmentsAlways seeking innovation and continual improvementUnderstand the importance of clear narrative and story-driven approachAbility to travelAssist in the use of technology in improving delivery and performance.Good working knowledge of 3D design software (i.e., Adobe Creative Suite, Revit, Rhino, and AutoCAD)Knowledge of AI generative design tools and capabilities is beneficialKnowledge of scripting tools (such as Grasshopper) is beneficialFluent English communication skills (spoken & written)Moving Forward:We want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
