Scopely is looking for a Technical Artist to serve on and elevate our new casual game, Scrabble team Barcelona on a hybrid basis. The Scrabble team is one of our key projects and we are looking for a Senior Technical Artist to join us on this journey, taking the project to the next level
What You Will Do As a Senior Technical Artist, you will be working with our developers and artists, and your main role will be to work on the development of project features, ensuring optimal integration of 2D assets and assembling them into the development environment (Unity 2D).
Create Prefabs efficiently and responsively.
Efficiently use Unity UI tools: Use Unity tools and components such as Canvas, layout groups, animation, animator, and other specific UI systems.
Participate in the development of tools and solutions: Support our artists by developing internal tools and solutions that optimize their workflow.
Support and document pipelines and best practices: Ensure that work processes are efficient and well-documented for future developments.
Optimize the project: Use debugging and analysis tools to ensure the integration is as optimal as possible and the game performance is excellent.
Backlog tasks: Perform tasks such as general project cleanup, overall performance improvements, or any other tasks deemed necessary to improve project quality and implementation speed.
Automate processes: Implement solutions that automate repetitive tasks to optimize the workflow.
What We Are Looking For Previous experience using Unity: Specifically in 2D UI projects.
Experience in mobile games.
Experience in design interpretation: Ability to integrate and adhere to designs according to UX/UI reference documents (Figma).
Basic Code Knowledge: Ability to write and understand C# scripts for the integration and connection of the UI with the project code.
Knowledge in repository management (Git or similar tools such as Fork)
