Senior Tax Specialist

This position will be responsible for the tax management of various legal entities across Europe and needs to have a good understanding of compliance rules and regulations. This role will also have general ledger responsibilities, which include month-end accruals, prepayments, PL analysis, and commentary.The roleOwnership of the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting processPreparation of statutory accounts to contribute to the year-end auditCompliance with regulation and all legal requirements, including taxPreparing and reviewing monthly VAT reporting and lodgementsMonthly/quarterly/annual tax returns (e.g. Property tax, CIT)Store registrationsMonthly accrual journalsMonthly balance sheet review and specific reconciliationsInsuranceAbout you3 years of experience in a similar roleStrong accounting and analysis skills (ACCA / CIMA / SKwP certificates preferable)Effective levels of data analysis skills and process improvementUnderstanding of best practice finance systemsKnowledge of ExcelExperience in finance systems (including Oracle)Nice to have retail accounting experienceRetail industry experience would be advantageousFull tax and accounting qualificationWe believe in supporting diverse cultures and harnessing the unique knowledge and experience of our team.
