The TeamIn this role you will report to a Tax Director and be based in Madrid. This function is part of the wider Finance organization at Celonis.
The RoleThe work you'll do: Assist with non-US income tax compliance, extensions, and estimated tax payments.Prepare & review all aspects of non-US indirect tax filings including, but not limited to, VAT, GST, and property tax.Perform tax account accruals, account reconciliations, and related journal entries.Assist with global tax planning including coordinating transfer pricing reports, CbC reporting, and preparation of intercompany agreements.Manage and monitor the maintenance of records for withholding tax or other taxes related to international operations to ensure foreign tax credits are reported accurately and timely.Partner with various teams, including accounting, legal, engineering, operations, and finance on a variety of initiatives.Stay current on tax laws and rate changes.Assist with non-US tax provisions, both local statutory and US GAAP.Recognize, anticipate, and resolve tax issues, and make recommendations as applicable.Work with the team to create, refine and document tax policies, processes, and system workflows.You are:Able to work fully in English (oral and written).
