Senior Tax Accounting and Compliance Specialist
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Senior Tax Accounting and Compliance Specialist, you will be playing a key role within Fever's Finance function working closely with the Head of Tax and Head of Financial Operations and the rest of the team, contributing to the development of processes in our Finance Operations practice. You will be expected to demonstrate ownership and proactivity in getting things done with a main focus on:
Ensure accurate Tax Provisions and disclosures in Financial Statements
Provide Guidance on Accounting for Income Taxes, Deferred Taxes and Liabilities, Uncertain Tax Positions, and Other Tax-Related Financial Reporting Matters
Ensure Timely and Accurate Preparation and Filing of Corporate Tax Returns and Other Tax-Related filings across multiple jurisdictions
Assist with Indirect Tax filings across multiple jurisdictions and responsible for B2C billing requirements and compliance with local e-invoicing regulations
Manage relationships with external tax advisors and auditors and coordinate with the accounting team.
Assist in the implementation and roll-out of tax reporting tools and technology aimed at improving tax reporting quality and accuracy and compliance processes
Develop and implement strategies to optimize tax accounting and reporting processes. Upscale processes and operations within the Tax practice to meet expectations of a highly transactional and growing business
ABOUT YOU
In order to be successful in this role, you will have:
Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
Proficiency in tax software and financial systems and proven ability with Excel
+3 years of experience in very analytical/operational roles
+4 years of experience in tax accounting, with a focus on global reporting
Experience on e-invoicing regulations and B2C billing requirements
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and focus on data accuracy
Fluency in written and spoken English; other languages are a plus
