Join us and help drive innovation and sustainability in our projects.Senior Civil EngineerResponsibilities:Works independently at an advanced level completing a wide variety of assignments through the application of advanced engineering theories, techniques, and practices. May provide discipline supervision for one larger or one or more smaller projects.Perform civil and structural engineering services such as: contributing to appropriate studies, analyses and recommended actions; and assist with the preparation of detailed designs, drawings, specifications, data, calculations and reports.Deliver civil and structural engineering services that meet Worley's and our customers' applicable specifications, on time and within budget.Technical Competency: Ensures team member adherence to generally accepted engineering and design practices, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.Project Deliverables: Gathers data from multiple sources and prepares engineering studies, analyses, calculations, etc. Crafts recommendations and creates final documentation.Determines technical issues, defines alternate solutions, establishes pros/cons for multiple solutions, and makes recommendations through official project documents such as technical queries, technical deviations, etc. Creates final documentation incorporating all relevant information and pursues customer approval. May review similar documentation to assist others and reviews/authorizes work done by direct reports.May interact with and build a positive working relationship with external parties such as the customer, suppliers, and contractors.Qualifications:MSC in Civil Engineering or equivalent that will lead to registration as a chartered Engineer in Spain.10 to 15 years experience from which 5+ years experience is in onshore petrochemical.Experience in handling (5+) teams spread across several locations (experience with workshare).Extensive brown field experience. Site experience.Desirable knowledge in other industries like PV or wind farms.Strong background in discipline work and a competent understanding of regulations, codes, manufacturing standards, and industry standard practices.Solid knowledge of Euro Codes and American codes.Knowledge in both steel and concrete.Proficient with STAAD; Knowledge on TEKLA or ROBOT is also a preference.Skilled in estimating project costs and writing proposal content.Ability to communicate in a working from home environment.Strong ability to inform and persuade on complex matters through preparation and delivery of proposals, presentations and reports, as well as collaboration with stakeholders and management.Interpersonal: Builds appropriate, constructive, and effective business relationships throughout the organization; uses diplomacy and tact; is approachable; communicates clearly, accurately, and consistently both verbally and in written matters.
