As a Senior Strategic Initiatives Manager, you will define and drive strategic projects across the Private Label Solutions (PLS) organization and play a crucial role in evolving our business. PLS is a leading player in the B2B travel distribution market, powering hundreds of Demand Partners across the globe with Expedia travel supply.
What you'll do:Identify and evaluate key strategic trends, opportunities, and risks, with particular focus on growing the PLS businessSupport the annual planning process and operationalize the plan by working with internal and external partners by gaining their consensus and active supportWork directly with senior leadership across PLS and Expedia Group to drive decision-making and alignmentIndependently identify and frame opportunities in a structured, data-driven way to clearly communicate options, risks, trade-offsAct as a change agent for ongoing innovations and efficienciesCollaborate cross-functionally to inspire change in the business by identifying and implementing the best ways of working across the organizationExamples of initiatives include identifying and launching new products or business models, developing pricing and go-to-market strategies, enhancing sales and operational effectiveness, investing in supply and demand, and managing post-merger integrations of teams, among others.Who you are:5-7 years of experience in strategy consulting and/or similar role in a leading technology company; MBA is a plusA visionary with the ability to execute on end-to-end deliverablesExperienced in leading, running and mobilizing multiple stakeholders (including top executives) and balance multiple demands in a multifaceted fast-paced environmentAmbitious, self-aware, and able to drive success while working autonomouslyExcellent problem solver with ability to synthesize and present complex concepts to both executive leadership and operational teamsBias to action - with an appetite for driving business impact/executionInternational experience and/or experience in online businesses or in the travel industry is preferredAbout Expedia GroupExpedia Group (NASDAQ: EXPE) powers travel for everyone, everywhere through our global platform.
