An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Children's Unit for a band 6 Staff Nurse. This person should possess excellent communication skills, have a problem solving approach, be resilient, enthusiastic and have vision to lead and develop both the team and the service. You should possess strong leadership skills and some previous experience in leading and managing teams. You would be part of the existing Senior Nurse Team with day to day managerial responsibilities within the department. Our modern and friendly Paediatric unit consists of an Acute Paediatric in-patient ward, High Dependency Unit, Ambulatory Care Unit, Short-Stay Assessment Area and a dedicated Paediatric Out-patient department

This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours.
