The products to be designed and verified include power management, signal management, and mixed-signal functions.Our clients' products cover a variety of applications, such as switching regulators, sensors, motor control, display drivers, audio amplifiers, and power management ICs for rapidly growing portable and non-portable markets like notebooks, cell phones, telecom, digital cameras, automobiles, and network equipment.Essential FunctionsVerify analog and mixed-mode designs.Define and execute mixed-signal verification strategies/plans, including developing test benches and verification components.Define and document analog-digital interfaces.Model analog blocks behaviorally and analyze architectural choices and trade-offs.Validate and verify analog and mixed-signal designs.Define, develop, integrate, and verify analog IP.Perform layout design.Conduct analog mixed-signal simulations and debugging.Assist the digital design team with timing, input/outputs, and DFT strategy/constraints.Support post-silicon validation, testing, and characterization.Collaborate closely with analog design, analog layout, digital design, digital verification, and digital physical engineers.QualificationsBSEE/MSEE with 10+ years of experience in mixed-signal ASIC design.Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with other teams or departments.Strong knowledge of the full mixed-signal ASIC development and silicon fabrication process.Extensive experience in transistor-level and analog/mixed circuit design.Understanding of device mismatches, noise, linearity, and other analog effects.Proficient in layout design and best-practice techniques.Strong experience with simulation tools such as Spectre, HSPICE, and MATLAB.Proficient in CAD tools and methods, including analog and mixed-signal simulation (e.g., Cadence ADE-L/XL) and analog regression tests.Experience running complex simulations, such as Monte Carlo, noise simulations, and stability analysis.Experience running DRC and LVS using tools like Calibre, ICV, etc.Experience with Verilog-AMS mixed-mode simulations.Proficiency in Verilog, SystemVerilog, and Verilog-A coding for behavioral modeling.Knowledge of DFT techniques such as SCAN, LBIST, ABIST, and IDDQ.Understanding of STA and mixed-signal timing and input/output constraints for synthesis and P&R.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.Preferred ExperienceKnowledge of automotive and ASIL standards.Experience in the power management industry/applications.Familiarity with I2C, I3C, SPI, USB, PMBUS.Proficiency in scripting and automation languages like Skill, TCL, and Python.This role can be based at any of the following office locations:Barcelona, SpainOttobrunn, GermanyEnschede/Nijmegen, NetherlandsPorto/Lisbon, Portugal
