We're seeking professionals who are ready to contribute to our mission and shape the future of mRNA medicines in Spain. Senior Trade Compliance: Collaborates with Global Trade Compliance to ensure that transactions satisfy legal requirements to file complete and accurate export and import declarations with local customs and other government authorities for international shipments. Responsible for the correct and accurate import and export classifications, customs values, and country of origin. This position will collaborate with local teams and provide logistics import and export compliance support. Here's What You'll Do: Work as part of the Trade Compliance team with a focus on Spain.Assist with managing day-to-day operations of compliance.Manage projects and tasks, as assigned, within the team and/or with external teams and/or vendors.Assist with implementing local and regional policies, guidelines, and procedures.Assist with ensuring operating manuals and procedural documents stay current when regulations change.Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for internal and external operators (brokers/agents/freight forwarders).Take responsibility for the classification of import/export goods consistent with the Harmonised Tariff Schedule (HTS) and Export Control Numbers (ECN).Review and enter compliance data into SAP/GTS and other Moderna systems.Keep abreast of trade regulatory changes and challenges.Liaise with other stakeholders in the business.Prepare and conduct continuing education.Prepare reports for internal management.Perform audits of import and export transactions with a focus on Spain.Maintenance of import/export records.Ensure that the Trade Compliance process is sufficient and is carried out as required.The key Moderna Mindsets you'll need to succeed in the role: We act with urgency: This role requires swift action to ensure compliance with evolving trade regulations, impacting Moderna's ability to deliver innovative mRNA products timely
