WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH: The Senior Specialist, Practice Marketing will work closely with Practice Marketing leadership to support the development and deployment of comprehensive marketing strategies to help meet the practice's commercial objectives. This role will be part of a dynamic team that develops and executes practice marketing plans, working with centers of excellence as needed such as editorial, brand, SEO, paid media, CRM/email, PR, digital campaigns, and events. It will also require close collaboration with peers in other practices, account marketing functions, and practice leadership. The role will report directly to a Practice marketing leader.
WHAT YOU'LL DO: Collaborate with practice marketing leaders to develop and refine marketing strategies and plans for assigned practices, leveraging owned, paid, and earned channels.Support as a primary marketing contact for the practice, providing ongoing updates and guidance.Identify and monitor key target executives relevant to the practice's growth objectives (e.g., clients, prospects, influencers, alumni) and assist in engagement strategies.Coordinate the creation of intellectual property (IP) and key content to showcase practice thought leadership and commercial solutions.Identify significant events and conferences that convene senior executives and recommend Bain's attendance and participation.Campaign Execution and Coordination Implement campaigns in collaboration with relevant marketing Centers of Excellence and local in-country marketing teams.Project manage an optimal mix of campaign assets across mailings, paid media, social, video, and in-person activations.Coordinate with Events team to deliver at premium events that target key audiences, locations, and timings to maximize impact, including third-party partnerships, sponsorships, and conferences.Help maintain marketing assets including web pages and bios.Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with other marketing functions, ensuring alignment of plans across industries and capabilities and in local markets to achieve overarching marketing goals.Engage with various stakeholders, including account marketing, practice marketing teams, Centers of Excellence, and local marketing teams, to drive cohesive marketing efforts.Data Analysis and Reporting Help monitor marketing budget adherence and track KPIs to evaluate campaign performance.Provide analytical support, using internal (web, CRM, campaign data) and external sources to report on marketing effectiveness.Conduct audits of IP content and competitor positioning to recommend improvements.Help prepare reports for regular stakeholder meetings.Innovation and Process Improvement Contribute to ongoing process improvement through feedback and insights.Support new projects and innovation initiatives to enhance marketing practices and ways of working.Proactively suggest process improvements and adopt new tools and technology, including digital tools like AI and data analytics, to improve efficiency.Knowledge Development and Sharing and Resource Management Maintain an updated knowledge of the firm's marketing capabilities and deliverables, including website and CRM developments, video, paid media, and content production in order to provide campaign planning recommendations.Ensure foundational resources, such as Bain.com industry pages and content libraries, are consistently managed and updated.Share best practices and learnings with the broader practice marketing team to drive continuous improvement.ABOUT YOU: 5-7 years of overall experience; 3-5+ years of direct experience in a professional services / agency environment, ideally with experience in B2B marketing with proven track record in digital marketing.Experience with execution of marketing campaigns.Experience with one or more marketing disciplines e.g. email marketing, content marketing, branding, digital campaigns, digital experiences.Effective written and oral communication skills, ability to liaise with stakeholders of various seniorities with minimal input from leaders.Demonstrated ability to understand relevant practice marketing objectives and priorities, as well as content.Ability to interact with external contacts / parties as knowledgeable Bain marketing representative.Client-centric mindset.Highly collaborative individual enjoying teamwork and success.Excellent project management skills.Ability to proactively conceive and suggest new approaches and solutions.Previous experience working with an international team.Undergraduate degree in marketing, communications or business.WHAT MAKES US A GREAT PLACE TO WORK: We are proud to be consistently recognized as one of the world's best places to work, a champion of diversity and a model of social responsibility.
