The world in which we operate with our class-leading products, intelligent services and innovative digital solutions is constantly changing.Together, we keep everyday life moving to build a better tomorrowWe are looking for a Senior Sourcing Specialist who will be responsible for source selection and the identification, tracking and implementation of cost saving actions using global benchmarking in order to leverage spend and optimise purchasing synergy.Location: This position offers the flexibility to be based in Spain, Ireland, or Poland, under the direct report to our Category Manager Steel Main, indicating our commitment to global talent and operational excellence.Main tasks and responsibilities* Strategic Sourcing Execution: Lead the identification, development, and execution of sourcing activities across the entire Hiab spend, optimising resource use over the product life cycle* Cross-functional Collaboration: Engage in New Product Development (NPD), Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), and early supplier involvement, ensuring alignment with technology development, productivity, and cost reduction objectives* Supplier Management: Identify and track cost-saving actions to meet annual productivity targets, prepare and analyse RFQs, negotiate and award business contracts, and develop new manufacturing partnerships, especially within BCC countries* Financial and Quality Targets: Develop open book costings, manage budgets, and forecast raw materials for suppliers. Define and achieve targets for Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Innovation within the category* Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations, focusing on payment terms, quality/warranty/logistics annexes, and raw material indices, ensuring the best terms for Hiab.What you'll need to succeed* Education: University degree level or equivalent, preferably in engineering or a related industrial field. MCIPS is desirable* Experience: At least 3 years of relevant global industrial experience in sectors such as truck, construction machines, mining, agriculture, or automotive. A minimum of 3 years in sourcing roles within an international, multi-site company is required* Skills: Proven expertise in managing large suppliers with a global footprint, project management, and supplier development programs. Candidates should have proficiency in using advanced procurement software such as Sievo and Ivalua, as well as experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems* Competencies: Exceptional knowledge in sourcing methods, supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, and analytical skills.
