Senior Solution Development EngineerSummary: Are you passionate about developing innovative software solutions and skilled in Software Design and Architecture? As a Solutions Development Engineer/Software Solutions Engineer, you will play a crucial role in defining, designing, and developing new or upgraded software solutions. You will work closely with Product Management and users to ensure technical solutions meet their needs, while adhering to Amadeus standards. This role involves everything from requirement gathering and feasibility studies to development, testing, and support.
In this role you will: Define user requirements for the development of new (or upgrade of existing) software solutions.Design technical solutions and perform feasibility studies.Propose viable technical solutions to Product Management and/or users for validation.Develop software according to Amadeus standards.Model, design, and implement databases.Conduct unit, package, and performance tests, ensuring quality in line with Amadeus guidelines.Participate in the validation phase of the product cycle, fine-tuning when necessary to finalize the product.Support the customer by debugging existing solutions in collaboration with the Product Manager or Product Definition Analyst.Produce software documentation necessary for the application and issue it to the requesting departments.About the ideal candidate: You hold a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Have at least 5 years of experience in software development.Strong programming skills in Java.Experience in database modelling, design, and implementation.Familiar with Agile methodologies and software development life cycle.Excellent problem-solving skills and can conduct thorough feasibility studies.Proficient in conducting unit, package, and performance tests.Strong communication skills and can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.You have a detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.What we can offer you: A complete rewards offer - Amadeus provides attractive remuneration packages, covering all essential components of a competitive reward offer, including bonus, equity, pension plan, travel, life and healthcare insurance, as well as lunch and transport allowance and other benefits.
