In this role, you will leverage your extensive knowledge of AWS services and software engineering best practices to design, develop, and maintain innovative cloud-based solutions.
As a senior member of our engineering team, you will provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure applications that drive our business forward.A day in the life of a Senior Software Engineer: Design and architect cloud-native applications and services using AWS.
Develop scalable, resilient, and secure architecture solutions.
Define and implement best practices for cloud adoption and migration.
Write high-quality, maintainable code in languages such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript.
Develop and maintain microservices and serverless applications using AWS Lambda, ECS, and EKS.
Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
Implement security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.G., GDPR, HIPAA).
Lead technical discussions and provide expert guidance to development teams.
Mentor and coach junior engineers to develop their technical skills.
Stay updated with the latest AWS technologies and industry trends, and share knowledge with the team.
