Your role at Baxter: We have a great opportunity in our team for a Senior Engineer at our Baxter plant in Sabiñanigo. You will play a meaningful role in advancing and sustaining digital manufacturing and Industry 4.0 initiatives for Baxter's Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) manufacturing network. Partner with a team of cross-functional technical specialists (e.G., software, machine learning, computer vision, mechanical and controls engineers, network administrators, and cloud computing architects) to develop and implement AI-based computer vision systems for sophisticated industrial automation use cases. Support and cooperate with multi-functional teams at a regional scale to deploy advanced technologies at our manufacturing facilities. Effectively lead project deliverables and commitments. Identify equipment/automation issues and recommend/implement improvements to Digital Transformation products and technologies. Support training workshops with our regional and site manufacturing engineers on Digital Transformation technologies with the goals of helping participants understand the intricacies of the technology and how to implement and sustain it themselves. Generate documentation, such as: protocols, reports, user requirements specifications (URS), design specifications, validation test cases, manuals, work instructions, etc. Learn to effectively use the command line in Linux (i.E., terminal) to provision hardware, interact with various command lines tools (e.G., Docker, AWS CLI, etc.), collect diagnostic information, and perform troubleshooting.
