The PositionOur Engineering Team is looking for talented Software Development Engineers who take pride in their contribution to the team. We are engineers and we contribute actively to the business strategy delivery.
You will be part of an ongoing transformation in the healthcare industry, working in one of the future product teams in Roche, responsible for creating an intuitive core platform that has a great impact on users.
We work with Agile methodologies. We are looking for Full-stack Engineers to work in a cross-functional environment. She/he/they will join our current team in developing the best solutions for making sure that our systems are secure, efficient and highly available.
Your main responsibilities: Participating actively in technical decisions designing, developing, evolving and scaling software as the business grows.Taking part in product experimentation/ideation creating Software you're proud of, using modern engineering approaches and agile principles.Owning your deliverables from start to finish.Delivering high-quality solutions, focusing on testing and cleaning code principles.Who you are: You have at least 5 years of real-world experience in creating and maintaining applications & Proficiency with Object-Oriented Programming and Design Patterns.You have experience in Docker, Kubernetes and in Cloud Infrastructure & knowledge of modern development methodologies like clean code and XP practices.You have experience creating and maintaining automated unit tests, integration tests and builds and proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of business analysts, developers, data scientists, and subject matter experts.You are self-organized and an owner; since we have flexible remote working we believe in trust and individual accountability for getting things done.You are a team player, who listens to your colleagues and, at the same time, you are not afraid to be assertive when needed.Nice to have: Acquainted with Agile development practices, especially Scrum and desirable in SAFe 5.0.Proficient in Java or other object-oriented language.Experience architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions.Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools (GitLab, Jenkins).Knowledge in techniques like BDD (Behavior Driven Development) and/or TDD (Test Driven Development) and Clean Architecture.What we offer: Dynamic and collaborative team environment.Global influence and impact.Vibrant and enjoyable workplace culture.Career advancement.Many other benefits and opportunities for growth.Location: You can be based in Sant Cugat with a hybrid model.
