This team is cross-functional and includes backend, frontend for web, and frontend for mobile applications.
Roles & Responsibilities This role involves working on different integrations to support new payment methods and payment service providers on the Ocado smart platform. You will need to support the current integrations and improve them focusing on having a frictionless payment experience.
Leading & Influencing: Help set technical direction, actively driving continuous improvement and timely delivery in the team. Ability in teaching and coaching, increasing the effectiveness of others across your department. Consistently able to translate needs into appropriate technical requirements. Seeks the root of the problem we are trying to solve, ensuring that solutions meet these needs. Empathy with customers, clients, stakeholders, and managers. Able to adapt your communication to understand their needs. Essential Computer Science (or related subject) engineering degree. Good spoken and written English. Experience in Java. OOP and software design skills. Passionate about developing high-quality software. Willing to take an active role in supporting business needs. Passion and understanding of TDD and Clean Code.
