The candidate will actively participate in the technical design and architecture of the application or its components, propose appropriate solutions, and promote the reusability of existing components while working in a collaborative environment.The candidate should have deep knowledge of systems and applications under their control, manage changes, and collaborate in the technical analysis, implementation, and testing of approved projects.
The candidate will also participate in application maintenance tasks.The candidates will work on applications based on mainframe technology (Cobol/Cics/DB2).Your key responsibilitiesTechnical design, programming, and testingNew projects, enhancements, and maintenance of a specific set of applicationsEnsure IT Application Life Cycle standards are met in ongoing enhancements and maintenanceAlign application changes with the application strategy and technology roadmapIdentify and manage risks and issues associated with the applicationEnsure maximum operational availability and stabilityPromote cost efficiencyYour skills and experiencesAdvanced English and Spanish requiredKnowledge and experience in systems and end-to-end processes.Experience in Cobol/Cics/DB2 analysis and programming is a mustExperience in application solutions from a technological perspective, including understanding key aspects of technical platforms and infrastructureSolid knowledge of software engineering, design patterns, and software architectureDevelopment background and demonstrated experience as an analyst.Experience in analyzing existing systems from high-level architecture to application code reviewExperience with technical documentation, architectural diagrams, components, flows, and use casesDemonstrable DevOps-oriented mindsetExperience with testing/QA toolsStrong technical knowledge and ability to understand complex business processes and workflowsTeamwork capacity with multidisciplinary teamsLeadership and communication skillsHigh commitment to resultsAbility to identify risks, resolve conflicts, and plan tasksDemonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlinesKnowledge of methodologies in application development (e.G.
