As a Senior Software Developer (Python), you will work closely with our experienced development team to design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications. You will have the opportunity to learn and grow in a support environment while contributing to the success of our projects.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain a high standard of code quality though best practices, code reviews, and adherence to coding conventions.
Develop programs that examine product quality, accuracy, and reliability.
Develop new product features from documented requirements and specifications.
Design the architecture and workflow for data collection and processing.
Conduct system tests and correct software defects.
Analyze existing product features in terms of speed, performance, and usability.
Write technical documentation.
Mentoring Associate and Junior Developers.
Deliver outputs within the given deadline.
Work within an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Required Qualifications:
Working knowledge of Python, including related frameworks, and libraries.
Working knowledge of AWS Services such as Lambda, S3, Step Functions, and Glue (or Apache Spark)
Familiarity with code linters and formatters.
Good understanding of network protocols.
Can work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to work within a team, reliable, and highly motivated.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in scripting language, such as C++ and Perl are an advantage.
Experience in GIT version control system.
Experience with Docker containers.
Knowledge of strategies and techniques for horizontally scaling applications to handle increased loads.
