The Role We are looking for a Front-end Engineer for our offices in Madrid. This new team member will join a highly talented team working on the most crucial and high-stakes projects, requiring expert assistance and involving multiple concurrent projects. The role demands adherence to Lumen Behaviors, including teamwork, trust, and transparency.
This team player will contribute significantly to the development of our cutting-edge products, touching all aspects of the development lifecycle from coding to deployment and support. The ideal candidate will translate product vision and requirements into software design, helping the organization redefine how developers and enterprises deploy applications to the cloud. They will empower enterprises to deploy and manage the most complex applications and topologies with ease.
The Main Responsibilities Front-End Development: Design, develop, and maintain user-facing features using modern front-end technologies and frameworks (Vue 3, Pinia, TanStak Query, etc.). Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, IT, and customer service, to ensure project integration and success. Code Review: Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to company standards. CI/CD Implementation: Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous and efficient deployments. Technical Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for front-end projects and developed applications. Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for front-end applications, including troubleshooting and implementing improvements. What We Look For in a Candidate Required: English proficiency (C1/C2). 5+ years' experience in front-end development roles, including experience with modern front-end frameworks and libraries. 3+ years' experience designing, building, and deploying scalable front-end solutions. Expertise with automating front-end build processes and continuous integration/delivery. Experience with front-end architecture and implementation features (responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, performance optimization). Proficiency in one or more front-end languages, such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue 3, HTML, CSS, or similar. Ability to communicate effectively with multiple audiences at an appropriate level. Desired: Experience in supporting and troubleshooting large-scale front-end applications. Experience with front-end migrations or IT transformations. Relevant certifications in front-end development or related fields. Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Mathematics, related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
