We are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be working within one of our platform engineering teams to ensure that our platform meets the needs of our customers and business objectives.

What you will do:
Work within a team of SREs to ensure high availability and reliability of our systems
Develop and maintain monitoring, incident management, and troubleshooting of infrastructure and applications
Utilize observability tools to gain insights into system performance and health
Design and implement automation tools and processes to improve efficiency
Perform on-call duties to address high-severity incidents
Collaborate with development teams to ensure applications are designed for scalability and reliability
Participate in the design and implementation of new systems
Stay updated with emerging technologies related to SRE and infrastructure
What we expect from you:
Several years of relevant industry experience building large scale distributed systems
Solid understanding of cloud architecture and application deployment patterns on GCP or AWS
Experience operating web-scale deployments of containerised systems
A deep understanding of programming languages and systems
A passion for architecting large systems with scalable interfaces
A hunger for tracking down root causes and fixing them systematically
A love for writing code - primarily using Python
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge of security and compliance requirements is a plus
